Since their foundation, the ASKI have collected important audio documents of the Greek political history from the post-junta period. Among them, we should mention the audio tapes from the party meetings of the KKE interior, the Greek Left and the Democratic Socialism Party (KODISO). Moreover, thanks to donations from researchers, the ASKI have collected a significant number of oral testimonies on the 20th century, which is continuously expanding. We should mention the collection of oral testimonies of Ricky Van Bouschoten on the memory of the inhabitants of Ziaka in Grevena regarding the 1940s, the collection of testimonies of Aleka Boutzouvi on the memory of Cypriots regarding the Turkish invasion, as well as the oral testimonies of fighters that Stavros Stavropoulos and Dounia Kousidou gathered during their research on the Greek post-war left movement. The access to these audio documents is subject to the scientific ethics policy and the terms imposed by the donors.
